CLAMP ELEMENTS For Shaft & Boss Fastening TYPE SCE200 Type SCE200 is a clamp element for connecting shafts and bosses requiring a large transfer torque. It is simple to install, and no other parts are needed. The applicable shaft diameter is 20 to 400 mm, and boss and shaft fittings may be up to H9/h9 size. For the shaft, drawn steel may be used. Applications Flywheels, pulleys, gears, conveyor drums, hollow shafts, cams, levers, etc. Standard Range d =φ19 ~ φ400 Special sizes made to order. TYPE SCE201 Series Type SCE201 Series has, besides the Type SCE200 features, a specially enhanced shaft and boss "centering effect." The shaft and boss fitting may be up to H8/h8. The "L"type in particular is a low contact surface pressure model. It may be used for hollow shafts and aluminum bosses not requiring a relatively high torque. Applications In addition to the Type SCE200 applications, this type is ideal for timing pulleys with small boss width. Standard Range d =φ19 ~ φ100 Special sizes made to order. TYPE SCE250 Type SCE250 can be installed in a minimum space with only a nut. No other parts are required, and no space is needed to install a type C spanner in the axial direction. The hub and shaft fitting can be up to H8/h8. Applications Long shafts for textile machinery, railway wheels, fans, agitators, rollers and the like. Standard Range d =φ6 ~ φ75 Special sizes made to order. TYPE SCE300 Type SCE300 requires very little space in the radial installing direction. Up to four clamp elements can be arranged in series, making possible a greater torque transfer. The connection is made through a flange or thrust ring. The boss and shaft fitting can be up to H7/h6.
